For children travelling unaccompanied, your airline's staff will take care of their passage through our terminal: they will accompany your child and ensure their safety throughout their journey.<\/p>

On many companies<\/strong>, From the age of 4 until the eve of their twelfth birthday, children can travel unaccompanied as UM (Unaccompanied Minor) passengers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Before your child leaves, check the entry and residence formalities required for their trip.<\/p>

Any child travelling unaccompanied by a parent must submit the following 3 documents<\/strong> :<\/p>

  • identity document<\/strong> of the minor (identity card or passport),<\/li>
  • parental authorisation<\/strong> signed by one of the parents with parental authority,<\/li>
  • an identification sheet <\/strong>with details of the person responsible for receiving the child on arrival. This person must carry identification.

    UMs must be present at the airport for at least 2 hours<\/strong> before flight departure <\/strong>(Please contact your airline for details of the arrangements in place).
    <\/strong><\/p>

    When children check in at the airport, they will be given a\u00a0UM special folder<\/strong>\u00a0which must be kept during the trip. It will contain :<\/p>

    • sound plane ticket,<\/strong><\/li>
    • its identity papers,<\/strong><\/li>
    • l\u2019parental authorisation,<\/strong><\/li>
    • the identification sheet<\/strong> which will include the contact details of the person responsible for meeting the passenger at the arrival airport. This person must be in possession of an identity document<\/strong> to welcome the child on arrival.<\/li><\/ul>

      At the check-in desk, you will be told the time and place where your child will be picked up. At the appointed time, a member of staff will accompany your child to the aircraft.<\/p>

      When it arrives at its destination, your child will be the last to arrive.<\/strong><\/p>

      A member of the flight crew will accompany the passenger to the arrival area, where they will be met by the person designated to welcome them.<\/p>
