Corsica Airports celebrate World Passenger Day.

For the second year running, Corsica Airports is taking part in World Air Passenger Day, celebrated on 17 November.

This international event, created in 2023, pays tribute to all those who travel, and reminds us that the passenger remains at the heart of the aviation ecosystem.

More than a place of transit, the airport is a place of welcome, experience and human interaction.

A shared regional commitment to enhancing the passenger experience.

Once again this year, Corsica's airports are taking a collective approach, with actions harmonised on a regional scale to reflect the identity, hospitality and values of the island.

Each platform has adapted the day to its own specific needs, while maintaining a common theme.

Passengers were able to discover areas decorated for the occasion, receive gifts, take part in competitions and enjoy special events.

A number of initiatives also promoted the local area, notably the presence of producers in partnership with the Corsican Chamber of Agriculture.

This diversity of actions, conceived as a regional unit, has made it possible to offer every passenger a warm, authentic and memorable experience.

Through this dedicated day, Corsica's four airports are reaffirming their priority mission: to welcome each passenger with attention, facilitate their journey and enhance their experience from the moment they enter the airport.

This collective effort strengthens the bond between the teams and passengers, and underlines the importance of a human, seamless and genuine welcome.

The actions carried out at the various hubs are a reminder that Corsican airports are not just technical infrastructures: they are places where people live, meet, discover and share.

A day that's gaining momentum.

In 2025, World Passenger Day saw an unprecedented mobilisation.

There are now 28 airports in France, the French Overseas Departments and Territories and abroad that have joined the initiative.

This success testifies to a growing collective commitment on the part of airport hubs, eager to promote the essential role of the passenger in air transport.

By renewing their participation, Corsica's airports are taking a full part in this international dynamic and affirming their desire to contribute to the continuous improvement of the passenger experience, while promoting the specific characteristics of the island's territory.

Jean Dominici, Chairman of the Corsican Chamber of Commerce and Industry:

«In renewing our participation in World Passenger Day, we would like to remind you that the airport business takes on its full meaning through the people we welcome every day.

Hospitality and service quality are key commitments for the island's airports, and guide all our actions.

This day gives us the opportunity to express our gratitude to our passengers and to show them our special attention, in keeping with the values of excellence and hospitality that characterise our region.»
